Karter's Sleeping Schedule
This little guy slept from 7pm - 7am the other night!! Just the perfect sleeping schedule for our family. It has taken us awhile to get him into a schedule, but I think we are getting closer.

Yesterday, Jakob was singing Rudolph and I heard him sing,
"Then one FROGGY Christmas Eve, Santa came to say."
What a cute boy!!

December Daily 5
December 5, 2008
I have been trying to start selling scrapbooking
supplies to my friends and family. This Christmas
Season has been spent having lots of parties,
ordering items, and making mini scrapbooks
and ornaments. It has been fun and I’m glad
I have been able to do it, but I will be excited
when I can just focus on my family’s Christmas
celebration. Yesterday I had a party that Jaycine
hosted, today I’m ordering items for that party,
and this next week I have a party and a
workshop I will be doing. It has been fun to rub
shoulders with fellow scrapbookers and share
with others something I love so much. We
will see what this next year brings. I’m curious
to see if I can promote the items I want to
sell online and limit the time I would be away
from home. It is definitely something I have
wanted to do for a long time, but I’m still
trying to figure out how I want to do it. I love
this crazy world of paper crafting. I love
recording and celebrating my life and the life of
those that I love. I would love to share the
joy that I have found in this with others.I have
hope for a future where my creative side can
change, grow, and improve as I associate with
others.

My Etsy Shop
So, my upcoming workshop for StructuredScraps is this next Wednesday, December 10th. There is a lot of printing and cutting going on here in my home to prepare for this evening. I'm excited to share something I love so much with family and friends. I'm also selling some of my items at Etsy and have placed a link on my blog if you would like to take a look.

Turkeys
Okay, I know that we are in December now, but I wanted to share something about Turkeys. At school Jakob's teacher asked all the kids how to cook a turkey. I wanted to share what Jakob said.
"Go to the food place and get a turkey for $100.00. Mix together 1 spoon of sugar, 2 cups of salt and 2 cups of milk. Place it inside the turkey. Cook it in the stove so it spins around with fire under it. Let it cook all day. Cut it up and eat it."
Well, maybe I should take some cooking tips from my son. I didn't realize he had so much to share on the topic.

Below is a Turkey Jakob made. He didn't want the tradition three feathers
on each side, he just wanted one for arms. Oh, is that how it should be.

Katie's Home
Steve's sister Katie came home from her 18 month mission yesterday. We were so excited to see our Katie come off the plane and spend the day with her. She has been such an example to us of service and love. Her emails home were always so positive and upbeat. What an example she has been for our family. We love you Katie and are so glad you are home!

Tomorrow, Promise!!
BUT, I have pictures of our tree cutting adventure this last Saturday. We found the perfect tree and I'm so excited to have our tree upstairs this year, right by the fireplace, so cozy and festive. Still working on decorating and hope to be completely finished this week.
