So, for part of this, every week this summer we are studying an Artist or a Composer. This week it was Grandma Moses. We read a couple books about her, watched a DVD, and did a fun landscape. The kids really got into it. They needed to draw a picture of an event, walk away, and come back to it and add more detail. They were using pencil, markers, and watercolors. So fun to watch them connect to these famous artists through artwork and stories.

(She was interrupted and went with Steve somewhere. I think she may come back to finish hers tomorrow. We shall see.)
