Peace Like a River by Leif Enger

Loved this book!  I had never heard of it before and heard that it was a friend's favorite.  When I started it I didn't know the storyline or the content.  The story was compelling and kept me wondering where it was headed throughout the entire book.  It reminded me a bit of the book To Kill a Mockingbird, one of my all time favorites.  I hesitate to write that, but I couldn't help but draw certain parallels between the two books.  I would love to hear your thoughts on that comparison if you have read it or end up reading it.  I actually checked out another book by this same author but didn't get a chance to read it.  I definitely want to read more from him.  So I'm giving a glowing recommendation to this book.  Read it!  I think you just may like it.
