A Baby Quilt

I finished this quilt this last summer, before my baby turned one, but hadn't posted it on the blog.  This was so fun to make, lots of little triangles, lots of work (for a not so experienced quilter.)  This is the Broken Dish Baby Quilt.  I followed the pattern found here on The Purl Bee.

I have only every quilted quilts for my babies.  I remember when I was expecting my first babe, visiting a friends, and seeing the gorgeous quilts she had quilted for each of her four children, three boys and a baby girl.  I knew then and there that I wanted to do the same for my babies.  Well now, this would be my fourth quilt and now I have three boys and a girl.  Funny how life surprises you at times with memories and coincidences.
