Before we look ahead to 2015, I wanted to reflect on 2014. A year in review of sorts.
Our year began with an anniversary trip to Bend. As it goes with many of our trips and getaways, we talked a lot about future plans and what was next for our family of six. I started off the year inspired with a exciting new lengthy reading list, with more books than I had ever planned to read, and a determination to read more in 2014. I began sharing Book Reports, updates of the books I was reading each month.

I also shared our Weekly Art With Kid's Posts. I talked about the proper place for crafting. We had some snow in February and loved having a few days off together as a family. I worked my way through sharing the rest of our 2013 Project Life pages. We headed off to Utah and spend our spring break with family there.

I was able to share a few room reveals on the blog. I was able to go to a few movies this year, spending some lovely even outs with my hubby. I also had so much fun spending time with friends this year, crafting, going out for dinner and movies, attending a book group, starting a motherhood book group, and just hanging out.

I played a lot with paper this year. I worked hard to establish a weekly routine, saving Friday for crafting, decorating, and scrapbooking. I didn't scrapbook as much as I would have like to this year. I shared my favorite girly movies and some lovely Spring Picture Books. I also shared some photos from my working kitchen and a series on planning a great summer with your family.

This summer we hiked to Pittock Mansion and took three trips to the beach this summer. We traveled to Utah for the 4th of July. I listened to podcasts. We read a lot, celebrated a few birthdays, did a few more art projects with the kids, and enjoyed some lazy days. I worked a lot on simplifying, decluttering, and shared some thoughts about this on the blog.

I love that my youngest and I share a birthday month and I so enjoyed his fox themed birthday this year.

We headed off to Utah again for Thanksgiving. We have used a lot of essential oils lately to recover from little colds and one 2 year old boy with croup. I also have been making and purchasing natural items for skincare and beauty products and have been so happy and excited for these new products. I watched a bit more TV then usually as I cross stitched some fun Christmas gifts. I shared our fun Christmas Home Tour. I was also able to share some thoughts on simplifying Christmas and some of our favorite Christmas picture books I shared here and here. We spent Christmas and New Years with friends and family.
