I love pulling together items I love and making them look good.  Whether it is a dresser, a bookcase, or a tabletop, I'll bring together some fun things and play around until I find a combination I love.  Sometimes it comes together easily and I love it and sometimes its not my favorite, but I can live with it.

A trick I have observed myself using and have found very helpful as I put together a group of items is the rule of odds.  I often group together items in odd number groupings, more specifically in groups of threes or fives.  It works well to have the items vary in size and height.  So helpful when things just aren't coming together.
