I love painted furniture. Paint is such an easy an inexpensive way to freshen up a piece of furniture and add instant drama to a space. My yellow table has been one of those items that adds so much character to my mostly neutral living room. I purchased the paint and quickly sprayed it on one busy Saturday afternoon. It may have taken me a little over an hour, one of the many reasons I love it, such a quick and simple solution.
I recently purchased a distressed blue dresser that our TV sits on and am currently using it to house our digital media. I'm loving dressers more and more to organize and store all sorts of items. The blue is lovely in this space. I've painted dressers, frames, a desk and a bed. I've painted side tables, chairs, and a bookcase. Right now my color of chose is white. I have a few items sitting and waiting for a fresh coat of paint, mostly our collection of thrifted and gifted furniture that sit in our basement. I think bringing them together with a fresh coat of white paint would do wonders for that room.
Have you enjoyed using paint to freshen up your furniture?
