What's It About || This was the sequel to the Kitchen House that I read earlier this year. Grissom tells a compelling story of tragedy and redemption. The story of Jamie a runaway slave living as a wealthy white man in Philadelphia finds his world threatened when secrets from his past begin to unravel. I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the Kitchen House but it was still a good read.
